Mark Blazey

Mark has been playing bass guitar since the age of 14. It's all he ever wanted. Not rhythm or lead guitar, just bass. Always bass!

Playing in bands throughout his teenage years, some of which just 'bubbled under the big time', Mark was soon offered the chance to become a member of 'Freddie and the Dreamers'. Whilst becoming a 'Dreamer ' was not in his original plan, he like the thought of touring Europe, and that's exactly what he did. He eventually realised that this was not the future of rock 'n' roll, and temporarily hung up his smart suit and tie.

Through the 80's, Mark played with an incredibly popular Essex pub band, who consistently packed out every venue they played. Even today, people still recognize him from those days.

The early 90's saw Mark playing for 1970's groove icon, George McRae ("Rock Your Baby"), and at the other end of the entertainment spectrum, Mark also played for some of the UK's top cabaret acts, including Joe Pasquale, Shane Ritchie, Bradley Walsh and Brian Conley.

During 1990, Mark met Deanne, and the forerunner to Baby Go Boom was formed. The now famous tag line was coined soonafter, "Mark brings a raw edge to an otherwise polished sound"

Mark and Deanne were married in January 2000.
